Sweet Stamp Shop- Use What You Have #4

Good Morning!

I dug through my box of craft supplies (you know...the box that just sits there full of old craft supplies that are so not cool anymore) and found some bowling stickers from K & Company that I thought would look great on a birthday card.  I don't know why I ever bought those stickers in the first place because I suck at bowling! Ha!  Anyway, I made those old stickers look awesome by pairing it with some Sweet Stamp Shop stamps and Echo Park paper!

The Stash:

My Card:

Supplies:
-Bowling Sticker Medley from K & Company
-Sweet Stamp Shop: Furry Friends Forever and Against The Grain

Good Morning Sunshine Layout + Complete Layout #1 Video

Hello!

I have been in the scrapbooking mood the last couple of days and found some pictures of myself when I was younger.  I decided to turn on my camera and film my process for completing my layout.  I started out by gathering some coordinating products that I wanted to use, along with the photo that I wanted to scrapbook.
I think it's so amazing to see how a person's scrapbooking style changes over time.  I have come to realize that I like the look of layers and I LOVE to add inks, paints, and embellishments to my layouts.

Enjoy the video:

I {heart} my wood veneers!

The Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher has become one of my favorite tools in scrapbooking!

Of course, I had to add sequins to my layout ; )

Supplies:
- Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm "Wishing Well" patterned paper
-Crate Paper Fourteen "Cupid" and "Love" patterned paper
-Amy Tangerine Yes, Please "Commit" patterned paper
-Studio Calico Wood Veneers
-Heidi Swapp Trimmings

Hello Friend

Hello!

I am loving the Sweet Stamp Shop Use What You Have Challenges!  It is the best feeling to use up the supplies that you have had for years and make them feel new again.  I found a set of rain-themed stickers with the rain coat, rain hat, and umbrella.  I decided to use the raccoon from the Furry Friends Forever stamp set and dress him up in the rain gear!

For the "water" I used a water brush and Distress Markers.  I also added a bit of ink to my water brush and flicked it at the paper to create the rain drops.

Supplies:
-Sweet Stamp Shop Furry Friends Forever stamp set
-Distress Markers - Faded Jeans and Broken China
-Copics: RV11, W1, W3, W5
-Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
-X-press It Copic paper

Have a great day!

Out of this World Birthday!

Good Morning!

I have another card that I made for Round 1 of the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol.  I thought the rocket ship and the little alien would make a cute birthday card for a little boy (or girl....girl's can like aliens too ; ) ).  This was a very time consuming card and I didn't make it in one sitting.  It actually took me a few days to complete it because I would just do one step at a time and then get side-tracked ; )

Supplies:
-Distress Inks-Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot, Walnut Stain, Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door
-Sweet Stamp Shop- Out In Space stamp set
-My Mind's Eye patterned paper
-Sizzix Dot Matrix embossing folder
-Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler
-Spellbinder's Standard Circle Small
-VeraMark pad
-White embossing powder
-Uniball Signo white pen
-Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
-Diamond Stickles

Have a great day!

Freakin' Great Birthday Coming Your Way

Good Morning!

Round 1 for the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol is over now, but this is one of the cards I created for it.  I thought the sentiments were perfect for a teenager's birthday card!  I also love the Neon Orange ink because what teen doesn't love neon?

The first two (top and middle) speech bubbles have sentiments from the Paper Smooches Slang Gang stamp set.  The third speech bubble has the "birthday" from the Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler stamp set and the "coming your way" from the Paper Smooches Spiritual Sampler stamp set.  The speech bubbles are from the Lawn Fawn A Birdie Told Me stamp set.  The hexagon background is from Hero Arts and stamped with Hero Arts Neon Orange Ink.

Have a great day!

Use What You Have Challenge

Good Morning!

I saw the Use What You Have Challenge at Sweet Stamp Shop and I decided I should probably participate ; )  I have so many old stickers, papers, and embellishments that need to be used!  It feels so good to put all of those old supplies to use and not just toss them.  I found an old Making Memories Glitter Bling frame (no idea where I got it!)  and the Love Me 6x6 paper pad from My Mind's Eye that is a couple years old.

The Glitter Frame is much more sparkly in person!  I decided to use the boy and girl from the Sweet Stamp Shop Lil' Sweet Peps stamp set.  It seems like I always need wedding cards or have someone asking me to make one for them, so I thought I would get ahead of the game and have some on hand.

Supplies:
-Copics: E00, E02, E23, E25, RV11
-My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 paper pad
-Sweet Stamp Shop Lil' Sweet Peps stamp set
-Making Memories Glitter Bling Frame Silver Oval

Have a great day!
