So......*NEWSFLASH* ......Summer is officially over! I had my first day of class today and let me tell you, I am exhausted! I only had one class and it got done and hour and 45 minutes early, but still. I could use another month or two of summer vacation! Haha! I had a drawing class today, so maybe I will be showing you some of my drawings in the future. Just Kidding! *I* don't even want to look at my own drawings. Yeah, they're that bad!
Instead, I'll show you a layout I did, which is much better than my drawings!
I used the new My Mind's Eye Cut and Paste Collection for this layout. It's really an awesome collection because it is so versatile. I used some white acrylic paint on the background to tone down the patterned paper. I then cut apart the chevron paper to create a fun element to the layout.
Those wood veneers are actually houses, but I turned them sideways to look like arrows.
I outlined the entire layout with a black Zig pen.
I'm pretty exited for a new series that I'm going to have on the blog! I have been working hard on it and cannot wait to show you all of my projects! I'm not exactly sure of the start date, but it might be as soon as this Thursday. It will be a weekly post with a full process video showing you different ideas for using 6x6 paper pads on you 12x12 layouts!
Thanks for stopping by!
